We can provide translation services for information technology (IT) areas including PC, Internet and mobile technology. We can translate Japanese to English and English to Japanese.
We care to understand the technical matters first before translation work. Therefore, quality of translation is well beyond mere word-to-word translation and machine translation. If you realy want a readable and meaningful translation, call us.
We can handle technical specifications, instruction manuals, online help and magazine articles, etc.
We can create a summary of a document or piece of writing in any direction.
It's a trouble if you made an effort to translate an entire document but it was not what you were looking for. You can read a summary first, then decide if you really want the entire document translated. This service is also convenient when you only need to grasp basic idea of the document.
You can specify volume of the resulting summary.
For example, you can order us like this.
"I have to read a hundred-page Japanese document, which I can't. I want you to write a five-page, or 2,500-word English summary by picking up only parts of the document where blah-blah is written."
We can send an interpreter (face-to-face translator) for communication mixed with Japanese and English in a telephone or conference meeting.
If you so require, the interpreter can talk to Japanese-speaking people without word-to-word translation during the meeting if you can provide what to talk about and what are your goals prior to the meeting. The interpreter can take a job of taking notes of what are talked in the meeting in Japanese or in English.
Most of the time, a person who can speak both Japanese and English very well is a good interpreter. But he or she may fail to communicate precisely unless he or she understand the technical subject of the meeting. We send you an interpreter of technical background and with moderate level of English.
Feel free to conctact us and tell us what you want us to do, how long does it take, or whatever you want to know. If you can send us your manuscript; we send you a quote of price and delivery.
Usually, translation service requires twenty yen or more for one word in English manuscript, or seven yen or more for one character in Japanese manuscript. Summary service requires twenty yen or more for one word in English summary, or seven yen or more for one character in Japanese summary.
The translator is a Japanese person who has technical knowledge and English ability. No English native speaker's check is done for translated English. We can arrange native speaker's check for you if you need it.
Interpreter (face-to-face translation) service requires twenty thousand yen or more per hour. The interpreter is a Japanese engineer who can speak business level English.

Spam Blogs are Expanding
Livedoor's New Search Technology Can Reduce 90% of Spam Blogs
Livedoor Co., Ltd., Tokyo-based Internet company operating a popular portal site, implemented a technology in its Livedoor Block Search service which automatically determines if a blog is a spam or not and excludes the spam blog from the search result. Spam blogs occupy a half of the search results these days. The 90% of the spam blogs can be excluded from the search result displayed to the user, according to Livedoor.
A spam blog is automatically generated by a special tool and contains meaningless contents. It is designed to earn money through affiliate marketing or direct users to a particular site. Other types of spam blogs are just a copy of some other person's blog or an article of a news site, one filled with lots of affiliate links, or computer-generated collection of search words such as frequently-used keywords and popular TV talent's names forming meaningless sentences, called a salad of words.
A Livedoor engineer, Mr. Yamashita Takuya, says "spam blogs of new patterns are emerging everyday." He expects, the number of spammers and spam blogs will decrease if spam blogs are not displayed in the search results.
